I have been working in childcare for over six years, during which time I have acquired and developed many child care skills. I believe that structure and discipline play a lucrative role in a childs development. I have also come to see that the interaction between a child and his or her caregiver makes a big difference in whether or not a child is happy and well adjusted. I believe that it is the childcare providers job to adapt and adjust her childcare strategies to each child and family. It is important for a caregiver to maintain stability with the children. I like to keep with the same basic schedule that the parents adhere to at home. As your child’s daycare provider, I will be present to provide security, not interruption. I will strive to participate in stimulating and engaging activities, as often as possible, and will encourage your child to grow and learn in any way they can.
