I recently purchased this 93 Jeep Cherokee and installed a MEYER conventional 6 foot complete snow plow set up on it.
It would make a nice low cost plow truck for clearing snow from a yard or parking lot this upcoming winter.
The Jeep has 162,390 miles,The exterior body is in good condition and has no dents.
The exterior Maroon paint other then some light fading on the front hood is in good condition with good gloss and no rust issues.
The interior is also in good condition (except for sagging headliner)
The Jeep is currently in my yard (its not insured or registered).
It has a 4.0 liter 6 cylinder motor that starts and runs good which is powerful enough to plow snow fine and also economical compared to a gas guzzling 8 cylinder plow truck.The jeep has: Automatic transmission,4 Wheel drive (great for winter driving and plowing of course),4 Michelin tires with decent thread (to aid plowing also),Alloy wheels,AM-FM -CD Player,Power driver seat,Tilt steering,Rear wiper,Rear defroster,Nice rear cargo space,Roof rack,
The Jeep has had the: Catalytic converter replaced, New Engine serpentine fan belt installed, Engine temperature coolant sensor replaced,Engine oil and filter have also been changed.
The MEYER snow plow setup which is a conventional plow setup ( not a quick or easy mount plow setup) works fine.
It angles left right and lowers raises well.
The plow set up is a complete set up, comes with the popular Meyer E - 47 motor and a 6.5 ft. long and almost 2 ft. high steel plow blade.
The plow pump motor and angle cylinders have all been flushed and filled with new fluid.
The plow power battery cables have also been replaced.
The plow setup is currently fully installed, can be tested out and is ready to plow snow as we head into this upcoming winter.
